Applicability: |
eCFR Subpart GGGa [ecfr.gov]
This subpart applies to:
- Affected facilities at petroleum refineries that commence construction, modification, or reconstruction after Nov 7, 2006.
Addition or replacement of equipment for the purpose of process improvement, without capital expenditure, is not, by itself, considered a modification.
Affected facilities:
- Compressors;
- Any of the following in VOC service within a process unit:
- Valves;
- Pumps;
- Pressure relief devices;
- Sampling connection systems;
- Open-ended valves or lines;
- Flanges or other connectors.
Affected facilities that commenced construction, reconstruction, or modification after January 4, 1983 and on or before November 7, 2006 are subject to NSPS GGG.
Not subject to this subpart:
- Facilities subject to NSPS VV or VVa.
- Facilities subject to NSPS GGG.
- Facilities subject to NSPS KKK.
