New Water Systems
New community public water systems and non-transient non-community public water systems are required to meet the regulations in Title 179 NAC Chapter 2 Section 015.* These regulations include submittal of plans and specifications for issuance of a construction permit, preliminary budget information, licensed water operator, management and staffing information, and submittal of an emergency response plan.
It is highly recommended that a prospective new water system look at available options for obtaining water before deciding to become a new water system, as well as become familiar with the regulations in Title 179 it will be required to comply with.
