2018 Certification RenewalsDecember 31, 2017 is the end of the current two-year certification period. All currently certified Onsite Wastewater Professionals will need to renew their certification for 2018-2019 if they intend to continue performing onsite wastewater work.
The 2018 renewal packets are in the mail. If you do not receive yours by November 15th, please call the Onsite Section. The packet includes the application for renewal, record of professional development hours, and a renewal invoice. The application for renewal and record of professional development hours must be signed and returned to NDEE to process your renewal, along with the correct fees. If you have hours that are not on the record of professional development hours, please print them on the back of the form. Please check the information to make sure it is correct. If changes need to be made, please cross out the incorrect information and write in the correct. If you have any questions, call the Onsite Section at 402-471-4285.
All certified professionals are required to complete 12 Professional Development Hours (PDHs) during the two-year certification cycle, in order to renew their certification (unless you first became certified in 2017, then for the first renewal cycle the required PDH is 6). Below is a list of the training that has been approved for PDH by NDEE for the remainder of 2017.
