System Registrations

Inside bottom width of chambers - The effective width of the trench for a system using gravelless chambers (with at least six inches of slotted sidewall, specifically designed for use without filter material) may be up to 1.5 times the bottom width of the chamber, measured as the distance between the inside edges of the base flanges of the chamber (see example below). The effective width calculation does not apply when filter material is used in the trench (Filter material is 1/4 inch or up to 2 ½ in. gravel, rock, or other material as per Title 124, Chapter l.).

Example:

Total trench length – This is the length of all trenches added together. Example if you install four (4) fifty (50) ft. trenches the total trench length is 200 ft.
Perc Test – The percolation test method is described in Title 124, Chapter 6. Please review this information.
Site Scaled Drawing – The required information for each onsite wastewater system is described in Title 124, Chapter 4, 001. Please review this information.
