Concept
The ONE RED Non-Residential Solar Program will provide funds for solar projects in locations that do not displace other productive uses (such as agricultural land). Projects could include ground or rooftop solar for industrial, commercial, or municipal facilities and community solar in brownfield locations. Adding solar canopies, such as over parking lots and cattle feedlots are also eligible. ONE RED will fund up to 60% of project costs.
Funding Available: $28 million
Greenhouse gas reductions by 2030: 12,000 metric tons
Funds will be subawarded to public power districts, electric cooperatives, municipal electric systems, or other nonprofit groups, which in turn will provide rebates or other financial incentives.
